This project stems from my desire to give shape to my life journey and my personal journey of self-discovery.

An ever-clearer realisation of how necessary it is to move beyond a dualistic view and embrace unity.

"One" represents the continuation and a stage in a journey comprising various chapters, one that is constantly changing and evolving.

The journey began in 2022, when, thirty years after I left, I decided to take the sixteen-year-old girl who still lives within me by the hand and lead her to reconnect with her native island. It was a deeply healing experience that took the form of a physical and photographic immersion in search of my identity and my roots.

Whilst in the previous chapter (Corsica Meia – Fusioni) the main focus was on the theme of metamorphosis and transformation, ‘One’ brings a new awareness to the fore.

The sense of connection between human beings and the island’s natural environment begins to expand. The feeling of being One becomes much broader and more inclusive.

In such a complex, painful and profoundly transformative period in history, we can glimpse the dawn of a new possibility and a new consciousness with which more and more people identify. All is One.
